Nestled under black tusk in the heard of squamish is Backcountry Brewing. One of the newest additions to the craft beer scene in Squamish BC. Perfect for a stop over on your trip to Whistler from Vancouver or Vancouver to Whistler.
Backcountry launched with 5 beers in their opening month, which is awesome for a micro brewery. It’s time to setup a flight and walk away with a bomber or 2. Your must try’s are:
What would a new BC brewery be without a pizza menu? BC loves it’s pizza and this brewery has about 6 for you to try. Is there a better combo than Pizza and beer?
Backcountry is open Tuesday to Saturday at either 12 or 3 until late. So grab a friend and head for the brewery, because you never hit the backcountry alone.
A-Frame Brewing
Squamish now has a micro brewery for every 5000 people and I wouldn’t be surprised to see another one over the next 18 months by the looks of how packed these tap rooms are. Squamish only being 45 minutes from both Vancouver and Whistler is the perfect place to stop to let your passengers have a beer weather your coming or going to Whistler.
There’s a few beers here you need to try, or why not just try them all? After all isn’t that what visiting new craft breweries is all about? You never know what beer’s your going to love the most.
